#02 Anmafean

The kind soul of Anma shines through as he tells us his motivation behind the interesting subject of this song.
Taking inspiration, he wrote this tune to help explain about the fact we all look at things differently at times; little truths in our lives everyday that can lead us to the ultimate truth.  Where do we choose to look?  What do you see in yourself?  What do you see in others?  Our discussion with Anma shows that there are many ways of looking at the same words through different eyes, even through the scripture.  Listen to our discussion with Anma here on our site or watch the video on link for the discussion on his tune “The Perception of Gaze Direction.”

Lead Scripture:
Deuteronomy 30:19b
“…I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life...”
Choose where you look.

LYRICS
THE PERECPTION OF GAZE DIRECTION

when you look and you cant see
when you seek but you cant find
When you walk all the way without knowing where to go.
without knowing where to go.
is the perception of gaze direction
is the perception of gaze direction
is the perception of you
or is the perception of gaze direction

when your brain don’t follow you
when the desire burn but you can take
when the stooge take over of is life and go
take over of is life and go

is the perception of gaze direction

when only the photograph remains
and the awareness hides the illusion
when the findings can be surprising but you no
can be surprising but you no

is the perception of gaze direction

When they pass not seeing you
When you pass not seeing them
and you realize all the illusion that surrounds you
you'll be wondering if this
is the perception of gaze direction
is the perception of gaze direction

Scriptures from Interview
John 9:1-12
“The man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I could see.” “Where is this man?” they asked him. “I don’t know,” he said.
We cannot always see the truth of what is written in the word of God.  We are all spiritually blind until we come to Jesus, just like this man was.

Proverbs 1:20-24
20 Wisdom calls aloud in the street, she raises her voice in the public squares;
21 at the head of the noisy streets she cries out, in the gateways of the city she makes her speech:22 “How long will you simple ones love your simple ways?  How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?  23 If you had responded to my rebuke, I would have poured out my heart to you and made my thoughts known to you.
24 But since you rejected me when I called and no one gave heed when I stretched out my hand,”
Wisdom cries out to us daily to look at her and listen, but we look the other way.

Psalms 22:7-23a;
7 All who see me sneer at me; They separate with the lip, they wag the head, saying,8 “Commit yourself to the Lord; let Him deliver him;
Let Him rescue him, because He delights in him.”
9 Yet You are He who brought me forth from the womb; You made me trust when upon my mother’s breasts. 10 Upon You I was cast from birth; You have been my God from my mother’s womb.
11  Be not far from me, for trouble is near; For there is none to help.12 Many bulls have surrounded me;  Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled me.
13 They open wide their mouth at me, As a ravening and a roaring lion.
14 I am poured out like water, And all my bones are out of joint; My heart is like wax;
It is melted within me.
15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd, And my tongue cleaves to my jaws;
And You lay me in the dust of death. 16 For dogs have surrounded me;
A band of evildoers has encompassed me;
They pierced my hands and my feet. 17 I can count all my bones.
They look, they stare at me;
18 They divide my garments among them, And for my clothing they cast lots.
19 But You, O Lord, be not far off; O You my help, hasten to my assistance.
20 Deliver my soul from the sword, My only life from the power of the dog.
21 Save me from the lion’s mouth; From the horns of the wild oxen You answer me.
22 I will tell of Your name to my brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will praise You.
23  You who fear the Lord, praise Him..”
An example given here by King David, and a prophetic word about Jesus’ death and suffering, that in the midst of severe suffering and looking at the darkness, we can have a change in the perception of our gaze direction and look at God and find our hope again!

Thank you so much. It was great to be in Treasure Vessels TV with you, guys. Really enjoyed the interview. It was very good to discuss with you the lyrics of "The Perception..." and could explain what I intend to express in those lyrics.

Thanks Antonio, we loved talking about this song, and while talking i learned a lot. and realized about myself. caz m still not perfect and good, and i know we can never be perfect, but thats again a wrong perception of gaze from me. :P i have to change my direction of gaze, and look in all good thats in me. i always look whats bad in me, but instead i shud thank God for all that he made good in me. thanks for this new direction of gaze you gave me Anthony. God is so good, and He knows how to reach someone. let it be any source but He will reach out every soul. :)
