#48 Diana Harmon Garnand

What a lovely person we found in Diana Harmon Garnand. So full of deep thoughts and a writer poetry most of her life.
Her voice is known very well on SoundCloud as she speaks from her own and other writings over music.  Her voice inspires many wonderful musicians and composers on the cloud.  Diana’s words today took us through a lot of meaningful thought about God and love and made us think of our own personal journeys.  While Diana was searching for God she realized that he is very near to all of us. She believes in the divine which lead her to meditate on love. In busy lives it’s important to find the true love which is not outside but inside of us; the connection of Divine (God). Diana say that what really matters is for us to respond in love and that response will make a big difference in our world. We are sure you will enjoy the discussion today with Diana and her piece entitled, “The Road To You Is Through Me.”

Lead Scripture:
Psalm 73:28
But as for me, it is good to be near God.  I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge;
I will tell of all your deeds. (NIV)

LYRICS
THE ROAD TO YOU IS THROUGH ME

I have searched for You this entire life
Endlessly looking for You in countless eyes
Listening intently for our secret language
In all that is said, and unsaid
Yearning to feel Your touch
Seeking some sign, some confirmation
From You

Why is this search so long?
The road to You, so lonely?
What have I done to deserve this?
What do I need to do to find You…to see You?
Where do I look next?

So afraid to stop seeking
Time is running out
Unwilling to settle for less than You
I know you’re right there, just out of reach
And right here…here
Completely within my grasp
The road to You is through me
So I continue on…

Scriptures from Interview:

Psalm 73:21-26
When my heart was embittered
And I was pierced [a]within,
22 Then I was senseless and ignorant;
I was like [b]a beast [c]before You.
23 Nevertheless I am continually with You;
You have taken hold of my right hand.
24 With Your counsel You will guide me,
And afterward receive me [d]to glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but You?
And [e]besides You, I desire nothing on earth.
26 My flesh and my heart may fail,
But God is the [f]strength of my heart and my portion forever.
When we try to live without God then we go through painful experiences.  Still through it all, God loves us.  He is patient and waits for us to turn to him.  When we do then we discover that he is all we have and all we ever need.  God is love.

Proverbs 14:10
10 Each heart knows its own bitterness, and no one else can share its joy.
Our experiences are our own and only God knows the full length and breadth of our experiences.
