#19 Henrique Pirai II

Do you think you were born to have a happy feeling a lot, or was that a choice? Do you decide to be happy?
Henrique thinks it is a question of attitude and choice.  Even when he was a child he found happiness in trying to do nice things and to also follow his dreams and make them come true.  You have to work, he says, but if you believe in your dreams then you have to work to make things happen.  Henrique has a lot of positive things to say about life and we know you will feel his high energy and happiness as we continue our discussion with him on his life and his feature tune, “AP Dub!”

Lead Scripture:
I Corinthians 13:1
1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.”
You can have beauty and riches, you can have good health, but without love it means nothing.  We can go through life just doing things that must necessarily be done, but without love all things are meaningless, like a sound that goes off without effect.  We receive great joy in sharing love and in giving and doing because of love.  How much our lives are improved and we are filled more with joy when we truly walk in love.

LYRICS
AP DUB

Composer – Music only

AP Dub - I made this song for my Lovely girlfriend who inspires and supports me all the time :)

I work 8/10 hours a day as a Personal Trainer and I do the work I love.

My original sounds don't have lyrics, and actually I'm not religious but believe that if your behavior make the life better for you and the other people, it doesn't matter your religion :)

It is great to talk about what inspires me to make my music :
- Love
- Friendship
- to make people happier

Regards
Henrique

Scriptures from Interview and Additional Notes:
Psalm 145:9
“9The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.”
When we seek to walk in love and to be good to ALL then we imitate God in this way.  He is good and compassionate and loves us all.

Proverbs 2:10-11
10 For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. 11 Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.”
When we love people we want the best for them.  We want them to have wisdom and knowledge, discretion and understanding.  We want them protected and all that is good.  Each of us find these things and more when we seek God and ask for his forgiveness, believing in his Son Jesus Christ who died for our sins and rose again from the grave.

Psalm 143:10-11
“910 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground. 11 For your name’s sake, O Lord, preserve my life; in your righteousness, bring me out of trouble.”
The New Testament teaches us that even those who do not believe in God do what seems good in their own sight.  This is a good prayer for us, “Teach me to do your will.”  When we seek God with our whole heart and ask such a sincere prayer, then he will answer it and we will learn day by day to do what is truly good.

Ecclesiastes 12:11-14
11 The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.
12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”
This scripture in Ecclesiastes speaks of words of truth, how they were set in the beginning by the wise for us to learn and be supported by.  Then it goes on to say that the making of many books there seems to be no end.  To us that may be music and songs.  It concludes to say “fear God and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.”  We are far too busy in our lives taking care of our needs and desires and we have forgotten this one foundational thing we are to do.

Proverbs 3:3
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man..”
Bind mercy and truth around your neck like jewelry that you keep safe and preciously close to you.  Write it on your heart and then you will find favor with God and man.  This is walking in truthfulness, faithfulness and love, and it brings great reward.

I Timothy 4:8
For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.
Yes, physical exercise is great for us here and now, but following after God brings rewards both now and in the life to come.
